  9. The 8th Annual Trinity International Hip-Hop Festival Happens This Week

    Over four days and nights, Trinity College brings the world of hip-hop to Hartford for the eighth straight year. Friday culminates with a b-boy/b-girl battle (7-10 p.m., Mather Hall) and the Jam (10 p.m.), with Brown Rice Family, Political Animals, Aisha Fukushima and others showing off their skills. Saturday wraps up with a Local Hip Hop Showcase (4:45-7:30 p.m., The Cave Patio) hosted by Self Suffice and Rashad, followed by main stage performances by dead prez, Rael, Las Krudas (pictured) and many more.
