    Today Roanoke County celebrated "Arbor Day", a time designated to observe the importance of trees. A special event took place at Penn Forest Elementary School this afternoon.   Many notable community leaders took part in the event, which included skits performed by the students.  The rain caused the ceremonial tree planting to be canceled but we filmed some of the tress that were planted in front of the school prior to today's downpours in honor of Arbor Day.
