What To Watch
Tough to top: During their first nine games, the Huskies have trailed for 48 seconds out of a possible 360; just 31 since Charleston scored the first basket of the season to take a 2-0 lead on Nov. 11.
Scoring mark: Stewart comes into the game with 142 points in her first nine games, more than any player in UConn history at that point. Maya Moore (165) and Rebecca Lobo (143) lead the Huskies after the first 10.
Defense: The Huskies are outscoring opponents by 43.8 a game and opponents are shooting only 28.4 percent against them. Hartford's opponents are shooting 40.2 percent and are averaring 20.5 turnovers.
Injuries: UConn freshman Morgan Tuck and sophomore Kiah Stokes will not play because of injuries. Both also missed Wednesday's game against Oakland. Tuck has a bone bruise in her right knee. Stokes has what is being called a stress reaction and is also listed as questionable for next week's games against No. 1 Stanford (Dec. 29) and Oregon (Dec. 31).
