  7. CIA's outrageous fake vaccination plot

The CIA is probably smug and triumphant about its duplicitous vaccination drive in Abbotabad, a mission hatched to catch and kill Osama bin Laden ("A tainted polio program," Jan. 7). As a doctor, I cringe to think of this unscrupulous use of medicine...

  9. School vaccination time

    Health
If your kids aren't caught up on school vaccinations, it's time to make that appointment. Pennsylvania adopted new vaccination regulations last year. Don't be put off by rumors that vaccinations cause autism. Your child will be worse off without the...

  15. By forgoing vaccines, adults leave themselves vulnerable to diseases and viral infections

As children, our parents take us to the doctor every year, like clockwork.
As children, our parents take us to the doctor every year, like clockwork. As we get older, regular checkups often fall by the wayside. But they shouldn't. For adults, checkups, preventative screenings and vaccinations are vital to living healthy,...

  21. From the desk of: Some of grandkids' toys just can't be given away

Since my grandchildren are all in their teens, it seemed like a good idea to go through the toys I kept on hand for their visits. I couldn’t get rid of any of their beloved LEGOS. The late John Hinshaw gave them away at his Texaco Service Station in Holtville when my children were young. My children were thrilled to add to their collection of animals each week when we gassed up the car.
