Cookie sale to benefit child care center

Kinder Haven Child Care Center will hold its fourth annual cookie sale and holiday open house Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 35 W. Potomac St.

The cookie sale will offer a variety of homemade cookie selections. Cash and carry items will be available from vendors such as Longaberger, Thirty-One, Scentsy and others.

Community Band’s holiday concert is Sunday

The Williamsport Community Band presents its 15th annual Christmas concert Sunday, beginning at 3 p.m., at St. James Brethren Church, 17718 Lappans Road.

The free concert is open to everyone and will feature joyous songs of the season.

The band is under the leadership of Director Susie Kunkle.

 

Two opportunities to enjoy a Christmas cantata

A Christmas cantata titled “All Is Well” will be presented by the choir at Calvary Temple, 147 S. Conococheague St. Performances are scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The community is invited.

 

Christmas caroling

On Saturday, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Williamsport High School Choral Department will be Christmas caroling in the neighborhood and will accept donations for the WHS Choral Department Choir’s related trips.

The choral group will be chaperoned by a WHS Choral Department parent. They will have donation buckets with the Williamsport Choral Department logo clearly marked on them.
