The Letterkenny Army Depot change of command ceremony will mark a transfer of leadership, as Col. Cheri A. Provancha relinquishes the title of Letterkenny Army Depot commander to Col. Victor S. Hagan, according to a news release.

The ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. at the Letterkenny recreation area.

Maj. Gen. Lynn A. Collyar, commanding general of the U.S. Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command, will preside at the ceremony.

Hagan will become Letterkenny’s 47th commanding officer. He most recently served as director of the Washington office of the Pentagon for the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, the release stated.

Provancha, who became commander at Letterkenny in September 2009, will become the III Corps G4 of Logistics at Fort Hood, Texas.

Letterkenny is the region’s largest employer with more than 4,000 employees. It is known as the Department of Defense’s Capabilities-based Depot, with primary missions in Patriot, Aviation Ground Power Units and Route Clearance Vehicles.
