Edna Mae (Warrenfeltz) Albright, 88, of Spring Grove, Pa., passed away Sept. 15, 2011, at York (Pa.) Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Stewart R. Albright, who passed away in 2009, and also of the late Preston R. Earnst Sr., who passed away in 1970.
Edna was born in Frederick County, Md., on Oct. 18, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Alvey M. Warrenfeltz and Rose Ann (Moser) Warrenfeltz Crowl.
She worked as a riveter at Fairchild Aircraft Co. in Hagerstown, Md. She was a longtime member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed the blanket workshop, and was also a member of Nashville Volunteer Fire Co.
She is survived by her sons, Charles A. Earnst and wife, Jane, of Spring Grove, and Barry L. Earnst and wife, Joyce, of Thorn Hill, Tenn.; her daughter, the Rev. Lou Ann Jones and husband, Jeri, of Spring Grove; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Anthony M. Warrenfeltz and Robert L. Warrenfeltz, and her half brother, Layman Crowl; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Preston R. Earnst Jr.; her brothers, Jacob Warrenfeltz, Richard C. Warrenfeltz and Bruce Warrenfeltz; and her sister, Flo Sandy.
A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, 250 Trinity Road, York, with the Revs. Paul Gausmann and Sara Gausmann officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Saint Paul Wolf's Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 175 N. Main Saint, Spring Grove, and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the parlor at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church.
