Mary Louise Franklin, 87, of Halfway, Md., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, Md.
Born March 30, 1925, in Warrensburg, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Maitland and Amy Lea Gowin Greene.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty Huffman and her husband, Harold, of Sharpsburg, Md.; daughter, Peggy Trainor and her husband, Bill, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; son, Gary Franklin and his wife, Robin, of Falling Waters, W.Va.; son, Jerry Franklin of Halfway; daughter, Amy Franklin of Halfway; grandchildren, Mary Gillespie and husband, Kelly, Jason Franklin and wife, Andrea, Angie Franklin, Adam Franklin, William Trainor and Lindsey Trainor; great-grandchildren, Donevan, Cameron, Kaleb, Owen and Wyatt; daughter-in-law, Sandra Franklin of Germantown, Md.; and nephew, Richard DeLap of Warrensburg.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Franklin.
A memorial service will be Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., with the Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.
