The soups will be chicken corn, chicken noodle, bean, vegetable and chili.
The soup sale will be at Ebenezer AME Church, 26 W. Bethel St.
The soup costs $3.50 per quart.
Teen dance planned
There will be a teen dance Saturday from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the MLK Gymnasium, 131 W. North Ave. in Hagerstown.
Admission is free.
Guest speaker
Kelly Wright will be the guest speaker Sunday during the morning services at Bridge of Life Church, 14 S. Potomac St.
For more than 30 years Wright has been reporting on major news events. He is a familiar face to those who watch Fox News, where Wright is the co-anchor of “America’s News Headquarters Weekend.”
Dinner set
Don’t worry if you missed picking up a dinner last week at Elks Lodge 278, or perhaps you did and are looking for a chance to get another dinner.
Friday night and Saturday, the Elks Lodge, at 326 N. Jonathan St., will host another chicken and fish dinner at 6 p.m.
Financial workshop
A financial literacy workshop will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Recreation Center, 109 W. North Ave.
The speaker will be Toni Sandridge, a State Farm agent, who will talk about “Budgeting.”
