    It's as if the pages of a history book come to life when you visit a nearly 200-year-old home in Franklin County.  Now, the home could receive special recognition. The home has a storied past. In fact, it used to be a slave cabin. We visited the home today and, while we were there, a preservationist was checking to see if the home could make its way onto the state and national historic registers.
