Sylvia Ann Boykin and Robert Randall Neff were married Saturday, Nov. 12, in Macon, Ga. The wedding took place at Park Memorial United Methodist Church with a reception, complete with band, at the Neel House-Federated Garden Clubs of Macon. The marriage ceremony was performed by Dr. Robert Neff, the groom’s father.
The bride is daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Watson Smith of Macon, Ga. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Rex Neff of Wilmore. Sylvia is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Jackson Watson of Macon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grover Boykin of Sims, N.C. Robbie is the grandson of the late Mr.and Mrs. Elmer Aschliman of North Manchester, Ind., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Royal Rex Neff of Claypool, Ind.
The matron of honor was the bride’s cousin, Mrs. Holly Watson Leskovics of Macon. The best man was the groom’s friend Mr. Joseph Frank Kosin of Lexington. The flower girl was Miss Athena Sasi Leskovics, and the ring bearer was Master Elijah Zsolt Leskovics, both cousins of the bride. Sylvia was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Dudley W. Smith III.
Sylvia is a 1987 graduate of Stratford Academy in Macon. In 1991, she earned her bachelor-of-arts degree in sociology with an emphasis in family studies from Asbury University. She is an actress represented by Atlanta Models & Talent and has appeared in several films, television shows, and commercials throughout the Southeast. Robbie is a 1983 graduate of Jessamine County High School. He attended Asbury University and has been employed by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky for 23 years. The couple will honeymoon in Alaska and will reside in Nicholasville.
