Chargers tight end Antonio Gates, offensive left tackle Kris Dielman and quarterback Philip Rivers were selected as starters for the Pro Bowl. The game will be played Sunday, Jan. 30, a week before the Super Bowl.Selected as alternates were left tackle Marcus McNeill, nose tackle Antonio Garay and outside linebackers Shaun Phillips.
