The ramp of Brasilia's National Museum, the work of Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, as seen in December 2007. Niemeyer, a pioneer in the use of reinforced concrete to produce soaring, curvaceous forms, died Dec. 5 in a hospital in Rio de Janeiro. He was 104.
