Former Oviedo RHP A.J. Cole is back in the Washington Nationals’ organization.

Cole, who was dealt to the Oakland Athletics in the trade that brought RHP Gio Gonzalez to the Nationals, was reacquired in a three-team trade that also involved the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday night.

Cole, 21, was considered the top pitching prospect in the A’s organization by Baseball America after going a combined 6-10 with a 3.70 ERA for Class A Stockton and Class A Burlington last season.
