DUBLIN, Ohio — Spencer Levin, wrangling for another opportunity at that elusive first PGA Tour victory, will get his chance after two holeouts helped him take a one-stroke lead into the Memorial Tournament's final round.

Levin chipped in for eagle at Muirfield Village's fifth hole, then struck again five holes later with a short wedge for birdie. He wound up with a 3-under-par 69, matching the day's best round in blustery conditions to complete three rounds at 8-under 208.

In February, Levin took a six-shot lead into the final round at Phoenix, only to implode on the final day as Kyle Stanley claimed the trophy.

Second-round leader Rory Sabbatini turned pursuer after a 71, leaving him one shot off the pace. Rickie Fowler trailed by three after a 69, seeking his second win five weeks. Tiger Woods was four shots back after a 73 that included four bogeys on the back nine.
