  1. Survivor found 17 days after Bangladesh garment factory collapse

    Workers clearing rubble from the scene of the multistory garment factory that collapsed in Bangladesh killing more than 1,000 workers at last count and injuring around 2,000 more found a woman alive and rescued her Friday, 17 days after the tragedy. The Associated Press reported she was found on the second floor; the New York Times said she was found in a Muslim prayer room in the basement of the building, which afforded her oxygen and enough space to stand up.     Sir Elton John and Taio Cruz entertained at the star-studded 20th anniversary "Race to Erase M.S." gala fundraiser Friday night in Los Angeles.   5. Prada, Baz Luhrmann fete 'Great Gatsby' costumes on starry night

    Director/producer/writer Baz Luhrmann must be pretty proud of his latest offering, "The Great Gatsby," due out May 10. At least it looked that way Tuesday night in New York at Prada's cocktail reception kicking off the SoHo store's exhibit of the movie's costumes, designed by Luhrmann's wife, Oscar-winning costume designer Catherine Martin, in collaboration with fashion designer Miuccia Prada. One might say he embodied the phrase "busting his buttons" (as seen here).     Emma Watson seemed poised and looked elegant as she accepted the Trailblazer award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards Sunday in Culver City.
