Sun Belt baseball: Owls picked to finish fourth

  FAU was picked to finish fourth in the Sun Belt baseball coaches’ poll, and three Owls were named to the preseason All-Sun Belt team.

  Pitcher Hugh Adams, catcher Mike Albaladejo and outfielder Alex Hudak, all seniors, were the Owls’ representatives on the all-conference team.

  Working out of the bullpen, Adams topped the Sun Belt with 10 saves last season and held hitters to a .231 average.

  Albaladejo hit .279 last season, while Hudak hit .360.

 FIU and Troy tied for first place in the coaches’ poll, withLouisiana-Lafayette third and the Owls fourth.

 FAU opens the season on Feb. 17 at Alabama.
