  3. Getting His Kicks during the NFL Lockout

    Shayne Graham won a State Championship as the kicker on the 1992 Pulaski County Cougars.  He was the kicker on the Virginia Tech team that played for the National Title.  Shayne then went on to the NFL where he has found success with a couple of teams.  Since the NFL locked out its players earlier this year, Graham like the rest of the league has had to find places and times to work out all on their own.

  5. John Phillips back where it all started

    John Phillips played his high school football at Bath County High School.  His played earned him a scholarship to the University of Virginia.  When Phillips arrived in Charlottesville it took him a little while to get used to what he deemed the big city.  Phillips has had to get used to a whole new big city as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.  But during the NFL lockout John is back where his football career all started, Bath County.

  7. Rookie Free Agents signing with teams

    The NFL lockout caused the schedule of events to be compressed and a little backwards.  The first players that could sign with league teams are the undrafted rookie free agents.  News 7 Sports reported on Monday that Danny Aiken is a Buffalo Bill.  A couple of his UVA teammates have found teams as well. Wide Receiver Dontrelle Inman has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Defensive Lineman Zane Parr is a member of the Houston Texans.
