Eli Manning, born Jan. 3, 1981, is the starting quarterback for the NFL's New York Giants. He was acquired in a draft-day trade in 2004 from the San Diego Chargers, who had selected him with the draft's first pick. In 2007-08, he led the Giants to an upset victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, spoiling New England's perfect season and earning the Giants their third Super Bowl victory. Manning played college football at Ole Miss. He is the son of former NFL star Archie Manning and the brother of current Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. (Photo AP)
