  1. Hershey Bears Boosters Play Broomball for Autism Society

    It's the first year for the event but if the returns are any indication, the Hershey Bears Boosters Club will host a broomball fundraiser for the Autism Society on an annual basis. FOX43 Sports Director Todd Sadowski was part of the local media invited to play in the celebrity portion of the game at Hersheypark Arena on Saturday afternoon. The boosters practice twice a month and compete in a broomball tournament every year against boosters clubs from other American Hockey League teams.

    The Hershey Bears will be on the ice Friday Night for the AHL Outdoor Classic.   In order to better prepare for the game at Citizens Bank Park, they pick the coldest morning of the season to go outdoors.   The guys lace up their skates, put on the pads and in some cases, wear goggles and a ski cap to go outside and play some hockey Wednesday morning on the outdoor rink at Milton Hershey School.
