    The Roanoke College Men's Lacrosse team advanced to the Division 3 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals with a 15 to 9 win over Gettysburg.  This is the second straight season that the Maroons have knocked the Bullets out of the NCAA's in the second round.

  3. Radford University to Cut Ties with Basketball Coach Brad Greenberg

         The rumor mill has been churning for weeks and now it appears that Brad Greenberg's days as the head basketball coach at Radford University are done after just four seasons.  Sources tell News 7 that all of the assistant coaches have been told that the Greenberg tenure is over and that the official announcement will come from the school either Wednesday or Thursday.

  5. Roanoke College Lacrosse Team Ready for NCAA Quarterfinals

        The Roanoke College lacrosse team left for Baltimore Tuesday morning.  Wednesday afternoon, Bill Pilat's team will take on Stevenson in the NCAA Quarterfinals.  It will be the 4th meeting in the last two seasons between the two teams.

    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Many of the best college golfers in the country are at Virginia Tech's Pete Dye River Course this weekend to compete in the NCAA Regional.&nbsp; 13 teams and 10 individuals tee of later this morning in round one.&nbsp; Virginia Tech is seeded 7th and Virginia 4th.&nbsp; At close to 75 hundred yards, the Dye course will be the longest to ever host a regional.

    Behind seven points by Steele Stanwick, the No. 7 seeded Virginia Cavaliers (11-5) stormed past the No. 2 seeded Cornell Big Red (14-3) in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament, 13-9, in front of 13,447 fans inside Hofstra&rsquo;s James M.
