Join the Wichita Art Museum as we celebrate the opening of Visions of Mexican Art on the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, celebrated as Cinco de Mayo. Embrace the vibrant culture of Mexico at this family-friendly party with food and drink specials, live music, and crafts for kids as well as a short presentation by the Consulate of Mexico in Kansas City.

Pajama Party- Animals of Asia at the Sedgwick County Zoo

Bring your youngsters ages newborn–Kindergarten to the Zoo all ready for bed for this 90-minute program. Each class includes a discussion, craft, Zoo experience, bedtime story, and snack. Kids are encouraged to come in their pajamas. A fee of $17 for members / $19 for nonmembers covers a family of 5. Additional people are $5 each. Programs take place from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Space is limited; therefore preregistration is required.
