    The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors voted to restore more than 22-million-dollars to public safety today.  Nearly 18 million of that will go to the Sheriff's Department. That means the sheriff is now dealing with losing 20 million dollars in funding instead of 37 million. That makes the situation less dire in the Department, but lay-offs are still very much on the table.
