7. Celebrate National Vanilla Milkshake Day Around New Haven!

Summer is coming. I mean, we think it's at least on its way. Spring has gotten hot enough to fake us out a couple times, but it's June and we're still seeing 40s on our thermometers, so no one's fooling us. But, as is typical in New England, we could end up melting for weeks straight any day now. Have you found your favorite chilly beverage to cool down with this season? One you may have overlooked, the simple vanilla milkshake, is celebrated nationally on June 20, apparently. And we were alerted to the holiday by McDonald's, of all places.

He's also made his mark on sitcoms (as Grace's husband on "Will & Grace") and suspense thrillers (as a serial killer in "Copycat").
