    Residents in the Shipoke neighborhood in the City of Harrisburg will be ordered to evacuate this morning, awaiting exact time from the City of Harrisburg.
Flood Prone Areas include any community near streams, tributaries, low lying areas and areas within limited storm water management.  
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), total rain fall is 7.71" from midnight September 6th through midnight September 7th; which is a record amount recorded in 24 hour period
Swatara Creek at Hershey is currently at 20.59ft (flood stage is 7.0ft) expected to crest at 24.5ft at 2:00PM today (9/8/11).
Swatara Creek Middletown expected to crest at 22.4ft (flood stage is 11.0ft), 7:00PM today (9/8/2011)
Susquehanna River Harrisburg is currently at 18.92ft (stage at 17.0ft) and expected to crest at 28.5ft, 02:00 AM on Saturday (9/10/2011).
