    The 2013 KSHSAA State Track &amp; Field Championships was a great meet just about any way you want to evaluate it. The weather, especially on Friday was &ldquo;California-like&rdquo; with temperatures in the 70s and light winds of three meters/second (approximately seven miles per hour) or less, with legal winds for many of Friday&rsquo;s sprints, hurdles and horizontal jumps. Even on Saturday, although the wind picked up to 15 to 20 miles per hour at times, hindering the 200-meter times and making the run down the home stretch tough, it was at the back of the sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers and gave them an extra boost.
