ROANOKE COUNTY, Va.—
Cox Communications has just added cell phone service to its arsenal.
The internet and cable provider tells NEWS7 starting Thursday, customers will be able to bundle all their Cox services together.
They are hoping to offer that little bit extra to convert their current customers over to use their new wireless service.
"We're gonna do text alerts when you get close to your minute plan or pack. We're gonna alert you via text message," said Kim Stanley.
Cox has also converted part of its Roanoke Headquarters on Fallowater Lane into a cell phone store, so you can check out the new services for yourself.
