This activity is ahead of an approaching cold front in an unseasonably warm</span><span style="font-size: small;"> (for this time of morning and Winter</span><span style="font-size: small;">) air-mass in the 60s, with good moisture and wind shear to feed strengthening storms.&nbsp; Our primary threats through Noon will include heavy downpours and gusty winds. Although most of our gusts should remain below severe limits in the 40-50 mph range, some storms could produce damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. There is also the slightest chance we could get a couple of isolated, brief, weak tornadoes closer to the Bay and Coast.
