BROOKLYN (PIX11)—The Nets are no longer in New Jersey.
The now-Brooklyn Nets unveiled their new colors and brand identity Monday at the Modell's Sporting Goods at 140 Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn.
Hip hop mogul and co-owner Jay-Z created the team's new color scheme and logos.
Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, NBA Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver, Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets General Manager Billy King, Brooklyn Nets Head Coach Avery Johnson, Brooklyn Nets CEO Brett Yormark, Onexim Sports & Entertainment President Irina Pavlova, Barclays Center Developer and Majority Owner Bruce Ratner, and Modell's CEO Mitchell Modell will attend the event.
Brooklyn Nets merchandise also hit racks at all Modell's stores Monday in New York City, the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue, Brooklynnets.com and nbastore.com
The Nets are offering Brooklyn residents first access to 1,000 season tickets, which will start at $15 per ticket per game.
