The following release was issued by the city of Goshen on Monday morning:

NOTICE OF BOIL ORDER

Location:  Woodward Place, Reservoir Place and River Vista Drive

On May 7, 2012 the City of Goshen will be shutting down the water main from 10am to approximately 2 pm to repair water main break. The state requires us to issue a water boil order for the affected area: Woodward Place, Reservoir Place and River Vista Drive will be affected.

After the repair, two consecutive water samples will need to be taken and analyzed for bacteria.  If they pass, the boil order will be lifted.  To determine if the boil is lifted, you will receive a flier in your door or watch you’re Newspapers.  For further information call Mindy at 534-5306.

Do not drink the water without boiling first but you can take showers, baths, laundry, flush toilets.  Dishwashers are ok if it has a sanitizing cycle, if not rinse with boiled or bottled water.
