Fresh Express announced Monday that it is recalling bagged lettuce because the lettuce could be contaminated with listeria.

The affected products include expired 10 ounce bags of Hearts of Romaine salad. They have a “use by date" of Aug. 23.  All affected product codes start with G222.

The lettuce was potentially distributed throughout Indiana.
