Route 29 bridge in Amherst County will be down to one lane

An Amherst County bridge on Route 29 will be down to one lane starting Tuesday.

Northbound and southbound traffic on the Route 29 bridge over the Buffalo River will use the southbound lanes while the project is completed.

The detour will be in place until the project is finished in April 2014.

The bridge was built in 1931.
