day tomorrow, Right now, dozens ast as we of people are in downtown Roanoke for a rally, after unarmed teenager Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. wdbj7 Anchor Melissa Gaona joins us live from the Martin Luther King Memorial with a look inside, Melissa. Jean, this event is called "Hands Up Don't Shoot" It's put on by a youth group that stems from the naacp. I'm told this is a memorial vigil to honor the life of Michael Brown, who was laid to rest in St. Louis, Missouri on Monday. The people here are also paying their respects to the entire Brown family. Organizers tell me they understand that youth can sometimes be experimental and tempermental, but they want young people to be aware of their actions as well learn how to develop a healthy relationship with police officers. The Virginia naacp Youth and College Division wants to also encourage young people from all across the United States to continue to hold gatherings like this in their own communities. Live in Roanoke, Melissa Gaona, wdbj7.
