The White Elephant Silent Auction at a Roanoke hotel will raise money for Habitat for Humanity and ASID (American Society for Interior Designers, Virginia chapter).
The event is Thursday, August 23 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sheraton Roanoke Hotel and Conference Center. The hotel is on Hershberger Road.
Designer furnishings, furniture, art, accessories, tools and more will be up for bid.
Advance tickets are $20 per person and $30 per couple. You can purchase advance tickets here. Tickets at the door are more expensive, at $25 per person and $40 per couple.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that builds houses for people who need them.
