Pulaski County appears to be the hardest hit by Wednesday’s storm.

According to county officials, a home in the Chickwood Estates subdivision (off Thornspring Road) had its  roof blown off, and about a dozen homes nearby suffered significant roof damage.

Three homes had tarp put on them, and a detached garage was destroyed by winds.

A horse was killed from damage on one horse ranch.

5 p.m. update: A retaining wall was knocked down at the Foodette store in Fairlawn, near Radford.

No one was hurt.

Three cars were also spun around in the parking lot, as well as several U-Haul trailers.

There is also a pine tree impaled in the side of a barn.
