  • Timing...snow showers continuing through tonight. Very low wind chills tonight through Sunday morning.
  • Impacts...snow and blowing snow creating slick roads and areas of reduced visibility. Very low wind chill values may lead to hypothermia and frostbite.
  • Winds...northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 or 55 mph...locally higher along the highest ridges across the North Carolina mountains.
  • Temperatures...teens to single digits.
