Send photos, videos and weather reports

We enjoy your photos and videos during any kind of weather, but your reports are invaluable during severe weather events.

Your weather report could be helping us relay specific storm information to an extremely large audience, often getting those in harm to safety.

We've made it easy to connect with SkyTracker7 Meteorologists. Below are a few ways you can share your photos/videos and even broadcast live weather events directly into our Digital Weather Center.

While we appreciate getting your reports, NEVER put yourself in harm's way. Your safety comes first!

SHARE PHOTOS

Share VideosEMAIL  your photos to weather@wdbj7.com  (Larger size photos work best with our High-definition broacast, but if it's a great photo, we're not picky)

FACEBOOK Another easy way to send us video is to upload the video onto our WDBJ7Weather Facebook page, or "TAG US" in your video.

TWITTER is great way to share your photos with our meteorologists. If you already have a twitter account, just Tweet your photo to @WDBJ7Weather and we'll get it.

Video files by nature are very large. While we love the higher-quality, we'd rather just be able to get them.

BROADCAST LIVE!

Through the use of laptops, tablets and mobile phones we are able to bring LIVE video and audio from the scene of severe weather, directly into the viewer's home, browser and mobile device.

Through programs such as UStream, we are able to show live images from our viewers and even interview them through Skype.

Since we can't be everywhere at once, we depend on Weather Watchers such as yourself to pass along vital information/photos/videos during a severe weather situation. You will always be given credit for your contribution. Here's how to get started.
