Clark County's Providence Elementary students awarded for high test scores

( James Mann/jmann@winchestersun.com / December 28, 2012 ) Providence Elementary School fourth and fifth grade students were recognized for their K-Prep test scores when they were in the third and fourth grades. Providence ranked 21st out of 733 elementary schools in Kentucky for their 2011 test scores. Students in the third grade last school year that scored proficient and/or distinguished on the test are Olivia Brooks, Hannah Bullock, Leslie Cunningham, Tyler Darby, Seth Deburlet, Trey Fulks, Claire Goff, Mason Goodin, Will Hazlett, McKenna Heflin, Chandler Howard, Emma Huntley, Emma Kubican, Tyler Lockhart, Caleb McIntosh, Hailey Paynter, Jack Preston, Adrianna Southard, Emily Southwood, Jonah Stanley, Shelby Summers, Elizabeth Vanover, Tanner Walton, Amanda Wood, Angela Wood, Ashlan Brookshire, Isaiah Daulton, Katherine Kennedy, Madalyn Meurer, Sam Neely, Brenna Rose, Jonathan Stefanski, Branden Vanderpool,Isaiah Daulton, Olivia Gullette, Kennedy Harrison, Jonah Stanley, Jaxson Davis, Chase English and Paiton Marcum. Third grade students are tested in reading and math. Students in the fourth grade last year that scored proficient and/or distinguished on their test are Andrew Alexander, Thomas Baber, Alana Brown, Brody Caudill, Clay Comer, Jeiny DeLeon, Jaley-Abbe Dixon, Brooklyn Driver, Cameron Durham, Ryan Fields, Molly Franklin, Caroline Frisby, Keaton Goebel, Halle Hunt, Becca Hutchinson, Logan Lawson, Joy Lisle, Lara Beth McKinney, Emma Melvin, India Morales, Clay Morgan, Kaitlyn Newton, Emily Oliver, Abby Prewitt, Felicia Rapp, Courtney Riddell, J. T.
