Driver injured in Becknerville Road accident

Clark County Sheriff's Office Patrol Capt. Paul Howard examines a vehicle involved in a head-on crash with a large tree on Becknerville Road near the intersection of Water Works Road Monday afternoon. The driver of the vehicle, Elvia Gomez of 3091 Combs Ferry Road, said she lost control of her vehicle as she crested a hill. She was taken to Clark Regional Medical Center with head injuries by Winchester Fire-EMS.
