Friday: "The Birds"

Friday Connor McPherson's "The Birds" is only loosely connected with Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 avian epic, and was adapted from British writer Daphne du Maurier's same-titled novelette. The plot follows strangers Nat and Diane, who take refuge and bond to survive the unnerving horde of birds who've begun assaulting their town in kamikaze-style attacks.
