New photos released in search for Rocky Mount robber

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WDBJ) - The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has released new surveillance photos in the search for a robber.

The robbery took place about 7 p.m. Saturday, November 21, at Old Kingery’s Store on Grassy Hill Road in Rocky Mount.

The robber walked into the store and went straight to the counter, demanding cash. Detectives say she appeared to be white and wearing a dark hoodie, Atlanta Braves shirt, dark bandana and leggings. No weapon was used during the robbery.

Investigators say surveillance video indicates the suspect vehicle was parked next door at the entrance to the Uttermost Corporation. No description has been made available of the vehicle.

Anyone traveling in the area of Uttermost Corporation or Old Kingery’s store about 7 p.m. Saturday, or who noticed a vehicle parked at Uttermost about that time, is asked to contact Investigator McFarling at 540-493-1667.
