Multiple cabin burglaries reported in Bath County

BATH Co., Va. (WDBJ) - The Bath County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of break-ins in the northern part of the county.

The buildings broken into were hunting cabins.

According to a investigators, forced entry was made to the back doors of the buildings by cutting chains and breaking locks.

The following items have been stolen:

  • 2016 Camo colored Can AM 4 Wheeler
  • 2012 Kawasaki Mule green in color
  • Homelite generator
  • 12 gauge shotgun
  • 22 cal. Rifle with scope
  • Assorted tools
  • Assorted household items
  • Antique red/blue vase
  • Antique blue/greenish ceramic horse figurine
  • Chain saw
  • Camping equipment

The Bath County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
