ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Center in the Square launched a “Get Schooled!” Program with Blue Ridge PBS Thursday.

Center in the Square’s “Get Schooled!” Education Program gives residents the chance to learn about ocean life and sustainable green architecture through the building’s atrium and rooftop exhibits. The new PBS show features the program and takes kids on virtual field trips throughout the building and the region.

“It’s just really exciting that thousands of children will get to see the stuff that we’ve been creating and learning, and I hope it will get to help some of them,” Payton Moledor, Host of “Get Schooled!” said.

The show appears on PBS’s new education channel, ECHO, which stands for Education, Community, Health, and Opportunity. ECHO is a digital first effort and will be accessible via online streaming and broadcast, on channel 15.5, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
