Driver unhurt after big rig crash and fire on 581 in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - A tractor trailer crash and fire had all southbound lanes of I-581 in Roanoke closed at Hershberger Road for several hours early Monday.
No cause has been determined.
Roanoke Police and Virginia State Police had gotten several calls before the crash about the driver speeding, according to Virginia State Police.
The driver is unhurt.
The truck was hauling trash.
