Alivia Harris is a Digital Producer at WVLT News.
She is happy to be in East Tennessee and share the community’s stories.
Alivia interned at WVLT before graduating and moving to a full-time position in news.
Alivia graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in African Studies in May 2019. While there, she served as a writer for The Tennessee Journalist and an editor for UT's magazine 'Scoop,' where she got the chance to cover some of Knoxville's most successful female entrepreneurs. Alivia also wrote a weekly column and served as an editor for the online publication 'College Fashion,' throughout her years at UT.
Although Alivia grew up in the heart of the Kentucky Wildcats, she will always have a soft spot for the Vols.
Alivia loves spending her free time at the gym, cooking, shopping and exploring new places.
