Logan Sherrill is an Emmy & Murrow award-winning journalist and has been informing and entertaining the viewers of Southwest Virginia since January 2017. Logan can be found each weekday on the 7@four, 5:30 & 11pm newscasts on WDBJ7 and at 6:30 & 10pm on WZBJ24.

Before joining WDBJ7, Logan worked for the FOX station in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a digital journalist reporting and anchoring news and sports. The job took Logan all over the United States covering stories such as the 2016 Charlotte riots, hurricanes, snowstorms, NFL & NBA playoffs, multiple NASCAR races, and more. You name it, he's usually there with a camera and a microphone.
Logan was born and raised in North Carolina. He attended Western Carolina University where he earned a degree in Communication with a concentration in broadcasting and journalism. During his time in Cullowhee, Logan was the general manager of WWCU (a student-operated FM radio station), reported for the communication department's online news journal, and was a commentator for Catamount football and basketball games.
