DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Update:
Danville Police Dept. Lieutenant Chivas says a man injured in a Thursday, Feb. 7 afternoon shooting is still hospitalized and recovering.
Danville Police arrested Matthew Dustin Moore in connection to a shooting.
He was arrested without incident Saturday at 1:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Piney Forest Road.
Police say he is charged with malicious wounding.
Moore is being held at the Danville City Jail under no bond.
This is an ongoing investigation.
Danville Police say they have found a red pickup truck in relation to a 30-year-old suspect who is still at large for malicious wounding.
According to Lieutenant Chivas, Matthew Moore should be considered armed and dangerous.
The suspect and the victim likely knew one another according to phone records.
Police are searching for Matthew Moore, from Danville, in connection to a shooting that injured a man Thursday afternoon.
Officials do not believe the shooting was random, and said Moore likely knows the man who was shot.
Police said Moore may be driving a red pickup truck with Virginia tag VDK-4277.

Danville police are asking for the public's help in locating a red pickup truck that fled the scene of a shooting that left one person injured.
The truck is believed to be a 2000s model Cherolet.

One person was injured in a shooting near the 1300 block of South Boston Road in Danville.
Dispatchers received reports of a shooting at the Dollar General off South Boston road at 3:44 p.m.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital and is being airlifted to another hospital.
The Dollar General is now closed.
Police have secured a scene around a red Toyota.
