UPDATE: Man wanted in connection to Danville shooting

According to the Danville Police Department, officers are looking for a man wanted in connection to a shooting at a local business yesterday.

Police say, Amar Amonte Wilson, age19, is wanted on felony charge of shooting into an occupied vehicle.

According to police, Wilson is to be considered armed and dangerous.

According to Danville Police, crews responded to shots fired at Sheetz on Riverside Drive early Thursday morning.

Police say when they arrived at the scene there was an 18 year old woman who had been shot. She was transported by family members to SOVAH Health before officers arrived.

According to police, the woman suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the side of her body.

No arrest have been made.

Police are still investigating the incident.
