RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ7)— Next fall, students at Radford University will have to pay more per credit if they take more than 16 hours in a semester.
University officials said in a statement to WDBJ7 that the tuition change would impact approximately 12 percent of the total student body, as most tend to take 15 to 16 credits in a semester. The university said the policy change of an additional 329 dollars per credit was not an easy one, but that it is reflective of their ongoing efforts to provide a high-quality educational experience.
Radford University said they delayed implementing the increase although it was approved in May in order for students to prepare for the change.
