BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7)-- Music is an art. There will be plenty of both this weekend in Blacksburg.

Laureen Blakemore from Downtown Roanoke joined that 7@four crew to talk about the 39th Annual Steppin' Out Festival, featuring over 200 artists and crafters from around the United States. Over 25 musical acts will also take the stage from the afternoon through the evenings of both Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3.
Both days, the festival begins at 10 am and will feature jewelry, pottery, stained glass, furniture, food, toys and more!
Admission to the event is free, and begins at the Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. building (318 N. Main St). In addition, the town of Blacksburg metered parking will be free, along with the Blacksburg Transit shuttles ready to take you there, according to the event Facebook page.
The food for the Steppin' Out Festival will be provided by local restaurants. Downtown Blacksburg sellers will also be holding their final clearance sidewalk sale during this event.
